Volumetric Paintings
For well over ten years I have been examining the intersections of painting and sculpture to create what I term volumetric paintings—works that fulfill a basic physical definition of many paintings: paint applied to a support structure. I cast acrylic paint into wooden or plastic forms that I subsequently mount on wooden supports.
